Thursday, January 29th, 2015

Following a positive trend in 2014, many economists and reports suggest the U.S. economy and job market are positioned to yield steady growth in 2015. Each year, Randstad US publishes its Hot Jobs list of the jobs that will be in greatest demand, as determined by our industry expert recruiters. The predictions are based on field market research, as well as an analysis of 2015 economic projections and market trends. So what manufacturing and logistics and office and administrative jobs and skill sets will be in greatest demand for Atlanta workers?

"With the overall rate of unemployment improving nationwide, the ripple effect into the Atlanta job market is apparent, and the recruiting environment is becoming increasingly more competitive," commented Kim Brown, Randstad's Senior Vice President in Georgia. "New positions will open up this year within a number of industries, including forklift operators in manufacturing and logistics and payroll clerks in the office and administration field, to name a couple. We are seeing Atlantacompanies and the state of Georgia place a greater emphasis on nurturing and recruiting top talent. Training programs and investing in earlier introduction of STEM (Science, TechnologyEngineering and Mathematics) studies will help further foster the strong talent of the Atlanta workforce."
