Council for Quality Growth is Honoring Ambassador Andrew J. Young with 32nd Annual Four Pillar Award

The Council for Quality Growth will honor Ambassador Andrew J. Young, former Ambassador to the United Nations and Chairman of the Andrew J. Young Foundation, with its 32nd annual Four Pillar Award. The black- tie optional event will be held on Thursday, October 14th, 2021 at 6:15 p.m. in person at the Georgia Ballroom at the Georgia World Congress Center.

In the interest of the health and safety of our guests, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event is required by all guests for entry. Proof of vaccination may be shown by presenting a physical vaccination card, a photo of a physical card, or a digital confirmation of vaccination. Face masks will also be required during the reception and throughout the program, apart from when seated at a table to eat and drink. Additional steps taken include reduced capacity, socially distanced seating, filtered air circulation, frequent sanitization, and a virtual attendance option. The theme of this year’s Tribute is “Peace in the Midst of Struggles” featuring special Tribute speakers Billye Aaron, Ed Bastian, Paul Rosser, and Andrew Young III. The event will feature a welcome from Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms as well as special remarks from Governor Brian P. Kemp. Masters of Ceremonies for the program include former Atlanta Mayor Bill Campbell and former longstanding anchorwoman Monica Pearson. The event will also feature musical tributes from The Voice contestant, Zoe Upkins, and six-time Grammy winning artist, BeBe Winans.
