FIG Partners Names Mike Sammon Senior Vice President

FIG Partners, one of the nation's premier investment banking and research firms specializing in community banks, today announced that Mike Sammon has joined the firm as Senior Vice President, Equity Sales and Corporate Development.
Sammon has more than 40 years of financial services experience, including extensive expertise working with community banks. Located in FIG's Chicago office, Sammon will focus on expanding the firm's relationships with financial institutions in the Midwest and West Coast regions.

During his career, Sammon has worked in investment banking, research analysis, bank stock trading and fixed-income securities. Before joining FIG Partners, he was Senior Vice President at Hovde Group, where he worked in equity sales and corporate development. Earlier in his career, Sammon created and managed divisions specializing in services to community banks for The Chicago Corporation and Howe Barnes. Sammon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago.
