ACVB Adds to Sales and Convention Services Teams

Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau welcomes four new staff members to support the sales and convention services teams. Vince Almoina and Amanda Dyson Dana are the newest sales managers to the organization, while Courtney Curry and Katie Kling join as convention services managers.
 
As sales manager, national accounts, Almoina will be responsible for leveraging client relationships in the Midwest territory to book tradeshows and meetings in Atlanta that require 500 hotel room nights and above on peak. Prior to joining ACVB, he served as national account manager of group sales for Sheraton Atlanta and brings more than eight years of hospitality experience to his new role.
 
Dyson Dana returns to ACVB after spending seven years on the sales team in her previous role with the organization. As domestic tourism and leisure sales manager, she will handle all meetings that require 50 hotel room nights on peak and below, in addition to all domestic tours and reunions.
 
As convention services managers, Curry and Kling will assist booked meetings with 250 hotel room nights on peak and up, including major citywide accounts. Kling previously worked as senior event manager at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Before joining ACVB, Curry held the position of rooms operations manager with the JW Marriott Buckhead.
