The Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS hosted its 10th annual October Brokerfest, on October 8th at American Spirit Works. Over 350 REALTORS and guests came together to enjoy an exciting evening of networking with the"Who's Who" of local Board members and industry leaders.

The proceeds from the event will benefit the Dana G. Smith Assistance Fund and the Atlanta Board Educational Foundation. The Dana G. Smith Assistance Fund was founded with seed money from the Atlanta Commercial Board in 2006 in honor of Dana Smith, a young, successful commercial real estate broker who lost her life to cancer at the age of 32. The Dana G. Smith Cancer Assistance Fund is administered through Piedmont Hospital and has helped  hundreds of patients since its inception.  ACBR is very pleased to continue her dream of helping others struggling in their fight against cancer.

ACBR Brokerfest Chairman, Ryan Hoyt stated, “The members of the Atlanta Commercial Board are driven to raise funds  to honor the life of Dana Smith through the DGS Fund and to keep her vision of helping others while they are battling cancer.  We are honored to work hand in hand with Piedmont Hospital to make this happen. The Educational Foundation is a vital part of our organization and the proceeds will go towards education for our members within the real estate industry."
