ChooseATL, a regional marketing campaign focused on talent attraction and retention, recently announced its newest initiative – The Ultimate Job Interview Contest. Through this contest, students and recent graduates from across the nation have the opportunity to win an all-expenses- paid trip to Atlanta, cash prizes ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 and a chance to interview for a dream job.

“Metro Atlanta is growing in every way and brimming with amazing career opportunities,” said Kate Atwood, vice president of marketing, Metro Atlanta Chamber, who is leading the ChooseATL campaign. “We believe that this region is the perfect place to live, work and thrive, so this contest is our way of welcoming new talent with open arms and highlighting the incredible possibilities Atlanta has to offer.”

The contest kicks off with a call for entries Oct. 1 and will conclude with a two-day finale event Jan. 5-6. Entrants can take part in the competition by submitting a 90-second video explaining why they want to make their mark in Atlanta.

Voting will be open to the public at the beginning of November to move contestants to the semifinalist round. The 10 semifinalists with the most public votes will participate in a five-minute pitch before a panel of judges. From there, three finalists will be selected to participate in face-to-face interviews with five executives from top-tier Atlanta companies, potentially leaving with a job offer.

Not only will finalists be provided with complimentary airfare and accommodations, but they will also be treated to a customized Atlanta experience which will include dinner with local influencers at a premier Atlanta restaurant and a tour of the city.

The grand prize winner will receive a cash prize of $10,000; second and third place winners will be awarded cash prizes in the amounts of $5,000 and $2,500, respectively. Sponsors of the Ultimate Job Interview include PGi, General Assembly and The Home Depot.
