Randstad US, one of the largest HR services and staffing companies in the United States, is pleased to announce the appointment of Abigail Tremble as president of Randstad Healthcare. In her new role, Tremble will provide operational oversight of Randstad Healthcare's national recruiting and staffing organization while also positioning the business line for exponential growth.

Tremble's appointment underscores Randstad's commitment to meeting the growing talent demands of healthcare providers, including large hospital systems, local physician groups, government facilities, nurse and allied health organizations, locum tenens staffing and more.

Leveraging her deep expertise positioning organizations for scalable growth, Tremble will focus on expanding Randstad's portfolio within the $15 billion U.S. healthcare staffing market. According to Staffing Industry Analysts' latest Staffing Industry Growth Forecast, the healthcare staffing market is projected to outpace growth of the overall staffing industry by 7 percent in 2015 and by 6 percent in 2016. A number of factors are driving the acceleration, including an increasing number of newly insured individuals (estimated at 9 million in 2014), an improving economy and an aging population requiring more healthcare services.

"We believe the healthcare industry represents a tremendous growth opportunity within a rapidly evolving environment," said Linda Galipeau, CEO of Randstad North America. "Abigail's staffing and business development experience is exactly the kind of expertise that will allow us to help organizations of all sizes meet their service delivery objectives. I'm very pleased to welcome Abigail in this critical role as we embark on an exciting future for Randstad Healthcare."

Before taking on her current role, Tremble served as executive vice president of national operations for Randstad's Commercial Staffing business and was in charge of more than 500 retail and on-site locations. In addition to overseeing sales, recruiting, employee development and business process improvement, she was responsible for the overall performance of Randstad US' third-largest business zone. Prior to that, Tremble co-founded a private consulting and recruiting firm, created two online universities and implemented Six Sigma business process improvement programs after starting her career with Excel Temporary Services in 1988.

Tremble received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Georgia and currently lives in Atlanta.
