Atlanta Communities Real Estate Brokerage, LLC, headquartered in Marietta, Ga., has expanded its corporate team again. Carley Stephens has been hired to fill the newly created position of director of strategic development.

Stephens, in her new position, will focus on the growth of the company, including retention of current agents, recruitment, marketing, event planning and adding to the firm’s services and technology to help agents reach their full potential.

“The culture at Atlanta Communities is incredible. As the Director of Strategic Development, I am focused on bringing the right people into that culture,” explains Carley Stephens. “When you have an amazing company like Atlanta Communities, it is not difficult to find people wanting to be a part of this organization. The difficulty lies in finding the right people, those who fit the culture, are experienced, professional and experts in real estate. We have experienced tremendous growth and success over the past few years and my goal is to accelerate that growth and success—not just for the company, but our agents as well.”

Stephens’ background includes serving as association executive for two different Realtor associations, the Camden-Charlton Association of Realtors in St. Marys, Ga., and the Cherokee Board of Realtors locally. She is a graduate of the 2012 Leadership Cherokee class, was a 2015 Atlanta Top 40 Under 40 nominee, and was named the Camden Charlton Business Woman of the Year in 2010. Stephens also spent more than five years in development/fundraising leadership position, first with the United Way of Greater Atlanta and then the Goshen Valley Foundation, a nonprofit, foster youth organization in Cherokee County.

When not focusing on real estate marketing and expansion, Stephens serves on the Advisory Board for Macy’s and is active in her church. She resides in Marietta.

"Carley Stephens has an extensive leadership background as well as an excellent working knowledge of the challenges real estate professionals face in their businesses,” says Judson Adamson, founder and CEO of Atlanta Communities. “She will be essential in our future growth.”
