Gwinnett Medical Center has earned a four-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' new Hospital Compare rating system – one of only two hospitals in metro Atlanta to receive a four-star rating or better. The rating system is a new service designed by CMS to help patients make decisions about where to receive non-emergency health care.

“This achievement reflects the dedication of our physicians and employees of Gwinnett Medical Center,” said Alan Bier, MD, executive vice president and chief medical officer of Gwinnett Medical Center. “We are extremely proud of this rating and all of the work the physicians and staff perform every day to further improve the quality and safety of the care we provide.”
