Given people's dependence on wireless devices, the $4 billion cell phone repair industry saw a 5 percent revenue growth in 2016, according to IBIS World. Staymobile, a service company providing electronic repair, accessories and protection for businesses and consumers, capitalized on the widespread popularity of smartphones last year, wrapping up its best year to date. The company dominated the industry with more than 30 percent increase in store locations, including expanding its footprint West including Texas, Utah, California and Oregon.

Notable achievements for Staymobile in 2016 include the opening of 13 new stores as well as inking deals with more than 50 enterprise and education partners. The charge was led by the brand's strong management, operations and technicians, which grew more than 30 percent. The company also introduced its new store prototype and design, resulting in improved overall efficiency and reduced costs.

Cashing in on the Clumsy

Carrying strong momentum into the New Year, the company plans to open 100 new locations in 2017, a blend of both corporate and franchise locations. College campuses will remain a hot growth market for Staymobile, with plans to expand onto some of the nation's top universities, including Duquesne, University of Arizona and the University of Cincinnati.
