FleishmanHillard Atlanta Announces Stephanie Fitzsimmons as VP

FleishmanHillard Atlanta today named Stephanie Fitzsimmons as its newest vice president. She will provide strategic counsel and guidance to the firm’s corporate, healthcare and tech clients with an emphasis on message strategy, media relations and reputation management.

Prior to joining FleishmanHillard, Fitzsimmons worked at Atlanta-based Jackson Spalding serving clients such as American Express, Chick-fil-A and Delta Air Lines. She has placed stories in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and USA Today, and was imbedded at Delta Air Lines after the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001 to provide ongoing communications counsel.
 
Before joining a public relations agency, Fitzsimmons worked at The Marietta Daily Journal, Naval Air Station-Atlanta, and the Chick-fil-A Charity Championship, an LGPA Tour event.
 
Fitzsimmons is an Accredited Public Relations practitioner and serves on the board of the Georgia chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. A native of Davenport, Iowa, Fitzsimmons earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from Iowa State University.
