The 57th Red Carpet Tour Kicks Off

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Thursday, April 6th, 2017

Since 1960, the Red Carpet Tour, scheduled annually to coincide with The Masters Tournament, has brought tens of thousands of jobs to Georgians while showcasing all that our great state has to offer.

The Red Carpet Tour is a premier economic development initiative where corporate executives from around the world travel to Georgia for four days to not only attend The Masters, but to also get a feel for Georgia’s thriving business community while networking with prominent business and political leaders.

“Each year, the Georgia Chamber is honored to be a part of the Red Carpet Tour tradition,” said Georgia Chamber President & CEO, Chris Clark. “It’s a unique way to not only bring new companies and jobs to our state, but to build those important long-term relationships with leaders from all parts of the world.”

The 2017 Red Carpet Tour, April 5-8, kicks off with a reception and dinner at the Governor’s Mansion on Wednesday evening. The remaining days are spent visiting different regions of Georgia and attending The Masters Golf Tournament.
