The Metro Atlanta Chamber’s Global Commerce Council announced the winners for the eighth annual Global Impact Awards. The annual Global Impact Awards honor international business excellence, innovation and leadership. They also shine a light on the region’s extensive international business ecosystem, including foreign direct investment and exports.

“Atlanta prides itself on being a top-tier hub for international business,” said MAC President and CEO Hala Moddelmog. “Today’s winners are indicative of the passion and drive our companies have for this region. Together they are telling Atlanta’s story on a global scale and bringing economic growth across our region.”

The award winners were announced at the Global Impact Awards ceremony on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at the Georgia Aquarium. Dennis Lockhart, recently retired president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, was this year’s keynote speaker.
