Atlanta Public Schools to Hosts Graduation Ceremonies May 18th-26th

Atlanta Public Schools will host 14 graduation ceremonies for over 2,400 seniors May 18-26, 2017. Completing her third school year as superintendent, Dr. Meria J. Carstarphen will deliver remarks during all of the ceremonies.
 
APS’ “Operation Grad Nation” boasts 10 Posse Foundation Scholars as well as other seniors who have earned millions of dollars in scholarships awards across the district. APS’ Adult Education Graduation will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 18 at Alonzo A. Crim High School, 256 Clifton Street, SE, Atlanta, GA  30317. Charles R. Drew Charter School will hold its inaugural commencement ceremony for its legacy graduating class at 4 p.m. on May 20 in their school’s gymnasium, located at 900 East Lake Blvd., Atlanta, GA 30317.
 
The remaining 12 ceremonies will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center, Hall C3, 285 Andrew Young International Blvd., NW, Atlanta, GA 30313. Below is the APS 2017 Commencement Schedule:
