Monday, June 19th, 2017

Atlanta Habitat for Humanity homebuyer Ms. Walton received help from Rotary members around the world to build walls for her new house in the westside’s English Avenue community. Joining Ms. Walton (purple shirt) from left are past Rotary International Director Robert Hall, Atlanta Habitat President/CEO Lisa Y. Gordon, Habitat for Humanity International CEO Jonathan Reckford, Rotary International President John Germ, and Rotary International Aide Ron Beaubien. During Rotary International’s 100th Convention, more than 120 Rotarians spent the afternoon of June 13, 2017 on the East Plaza of the Georgia World Congress Center building 75 wall frames—enough for two and half houses.
