Eric Tanenblatt Appointed Dentons US Public Policy Chair

Dentons, the global law firm, announced that Eric Tanenblatt, a former chief of staff to then-Governor Sonny Perdue who served in three presidential administrations, has been named chair of the Firm’s nationally ranked Public Policy practice.

Tanenblatt, who joined the legacy firm Long, Aldridge & Norman, later McKenna Long & Aldridge, 15 years before its merger with Dentons in 2015, will also serve as a leader in the firm's Global Public Policy and Regulation practice and Global Government Sector.

Tanenblatt began his career in the administration of President George H. W. Bush, serving at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and later the Peace Corps. He later served as a senior advisor to the late U.S. Senator Paul Coverdell and as chief of staff to then-Governor Perdue. In 2008, Tanenblatt was nominated by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the U.S. Senate to serve on the board of the Corporation for National and Community Service, a position he held until 2013.
