Georgia Initiative for Community Housing Now Accepting Applications

Cities interested in participating in the Georgia Initiative for Community Housing beginning in 2018 may apply between now and August 11.
Sponsored by GMA, the University of Georgia and the Department of Community Affairs with funding support from Georgia Power, GICH helps communities improve their quality of life and economic vitality through the development of locally-based housing and revitalization strategies.
Five communities are selected each year into the three-year program.
Applications are available at www.fcs.uga.edu/fhce/gich and additional information about the program is available in this June 6 letter to city officials.
