MMM’s Scott Allen Named ACG Atlanta Board Secretary

Scott Allen, a partner at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, has been selected to serve as Corporate Secretary of the Atlanta Board of Directors of the Association for Corporate Growth. The executive committee post includes a one-year term.
ACG is a global organization focused on driving middle-market growth. Its Atlanta chapter is the premier network in the Southeast for experts and decision-making professionals focused on strategies for increasing stakeholder value. Allen, who has served on the for board several years, has held previous offices including Vice President of Strategy for the organization.

Allen, a partner in MMM’s Corporate and Securities Practices, represents clients in corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity and corporate finance. Over the years, he has handled deals totaling in the billions of dollars. His experience covers industries including technology and tech-enabled business services, outsourcing, medical devices and manufacturing. He regularly represents private equity firms and their portfolio companies, as well as venture capital-backed and closely-held businesses, in a wide range of corporate matters.
Allen is deeply involved in the region’s entrepreneurial community. He belongs to organizations including the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), Technology Executives Roundtable and the Atlanta CEO Council.
