Risk Strategies Company, a privately held, rapidly growing national insurance brokerage and risk management firm, has acquired life and health benefits specialist firm, Anderson Corporate Solutions enhancing its leadership in employee benefits consulting. Terms of the deal are undisclosed.

Located in Lawrenceville, GA since 1946, the team will augment Risk Strategies’ existing local presence in the Southeast. Anderson is led by principals, Fred and Barbara Nash. The company has built a respected regional employee benefits consulting practice, with a notable specialty in serving the needs of architectural and engineering firms. Anderson’s capabilities range from core benefits plan design to voluntary benefits and wellness programs, as well as international health insurance and human resources support.

“Aligning business objectives with employee needs is a complex undertaking,” said John Greenbaum, national employee benefits practice leader of Risk Strategies Company. “Joining forces with a company that understands those complexities and navigates them successfully time and time again will only strengthen Risk Strategies’ own offerings. Anderson expands our ability to provide clients in the Southeast with proven experts who can simplify their challenges.”

Risk Strategies also maintains offices in Lawrenceville, which it obtained through its acquisition of Crow Friedman Group, a Memphis, TN based specialist in professional liability insurance for architects and engineers. The proximity and familiarity with local market needs ensures Risk Strategies personnel will be able to quickly engage with Anderson staff to support current client needs and joint efforts in attaining new business.

“Our business has thrived because it has been built on the value of specialization,” said Fred Nash, principal of Anderson Corporate Solutions. “Becoming part of Risk Strategies Company allows us to continue with that focus, while bringing a scale of national resources and extended expertise to benefit our client base and enhance our competitive position in the market.”

In addition to benefits plan design, Anderson, like Risk Strategies, has built out expert capabilities to advise and guide clients on the selection, integration and best use of human resource and benefits management technology.
