Waffle House Museum Open House Set for Saturday

Staff Report From Metro Atlanta CEO

Friday, July 28th, 2017

Waffle House fans are invited to stop by the Waffle House Museum Saturday, July 29, from noon to 3pm to celebrate the 61-year heritage of this Southern icon. This event is free to the public and all tours include the guests making their own waffle and other Waffle House gifts.

The museum is on the site where the Waffle House experience began as a dream of two Avondale Estate neighbors in 1955.   Little did Joe Rogers, Sr. and Tom Forkner know at that time their dream would grow to the Waffle House phenomenon of today.
