The Alpharetta Technology Commission is pleased to announce that three technology startups are graduating from its Innovation Center, bolstering the Center’s growing reputation as one of the region’s top hubs for tech startup incubation. The newly graduated companies –Evident, LivFul, and vLink Solutions – have each grown in size and revenue and are graduating the Center for larger accommodations to house their expanding teams.

“We’re thrilled to see these burgeoning companies take off, and while we’ll miss having them at the ATC Innovation Center, we’re excited about their success and look forward to seeing their future business trajectories,” says Karen Cashion, CEO of the ATC.

Evident simplifies the complicated world of personal data and security. With a simple, secure API, Evident allows enterprises to obtain and use verified personal data without the risk and expense of securing it. Housed at the ATC Innovation Center since February 2016, Evident chose to work there because the Center is the heart of Alpharetta’s tech community.

LivFul creates accessible biotechnology products that allow people to live free from the threat of disease. Like Evident, it has been housed at the ATC Innovation Center since February 2016.  The company’s signature product, AKIVA, is a nature-based insect repellent designed as a tool to fight the spread of malaria and other diseases. To prepare for its launch in the Bahamas earlier this summer, LivFul expanded its team and planned a move to a larger space in Alpharetta just three miles north of the Center.

Hogan Bassey, LivFul’s CEO and founder, credits the ATC Innovation Center’s resources and community support as crucial to their expansion, “We’re grateful to everyone at the ATC Innovation Center who helped us create an established work space, supported us with opportunities to meet other entrepreneurs, connected us with resources, and allowed us to share what we do with the startup community.”

A third graduate, vLink Solutions, provides cost-effective video marketing ideal for all types of businesses. In addition to production services, vLink’s marketing platform hosts thousands of videos with millions of views recorded. vLink initially made the ATC Innovation Center its home due to the Center’s booming tech scene, its large population of both early-stage and established local companies, and the fact that the facility itself offered a place to shoot video. Now, nine months later, the company has opened a new 2,500-square-foot production studio of its own nearby in Alpharetta.

“It’s exciting to watch so many Alpharetta-based companies achieve success and add to the city’s stellar reputation in tech,” notes Peter Tokar, economic development director for the City of Alpharetta.
