BeavEx Incorporated, a leading national provider of same-day delivery and last-mile logistics services, has named Terry Carter as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Carter brings over 25 years of supply chain solutions experience from FedEx Ground, DHL, and RPS, Inc. and will leverage this expertise to execute BeavEx's go-forward strategy of accelerated growth.
BeavEx also announced that it has completed a financing with its current investors that eliminated its third-party bank debt. The improved financial position will enable the company to make further investments in its technology platform and service offerings in order to support the needs and growth of customers.
Mr. Carter said, "I am honored to join the BeavEx team at this exciting time. Much progress has been made in recent years and BeavEx has a highly-experienced and dedicated management team that is focused on attractive end markets with strong growth potential. Our recently developed technology platform enables us to both deliver best-in-class logistics solutions while providing customer-facing analytics and transparency that enables them to enhance their own operations. Additionally, our recent financing positions the company to support expanded services to our existing customers as well as new customers."
Mr. Carter is a proven supply chain leader who has successfully managed operations, sales, and shared service functions across various business units and industry verticals. He has consistently been recognized for his ability to drive extraordinary results and sustainable improvements in competitive environments across North America and International trade lanes. In addition to FedEx Ground, DHL, and RPS, Mr. Carter has held senior leadership positions at Brown Integrated Logistics, Graebel Van Lines, and World Wide Technology Inc.
Rich Boland, BeavEx's President and Chief Executive Officer since 2014, will resign from BeavEx after successfully diversifying the business into additional verticals with a focus on higher-growth end markets. Mr. Boland will work directly with Mr. Carter to support a seamless transition.
Mr. Carter added, "I would like to thank Rich for his leadership over the past several years, and for creating the management team and infrastructure that positions BeavEx well for accelerated growth. We wish Rich well in his next adventure."
