Watch: Governor Releases “New Adventure”

Gov. Nathan Deal, in conjunction with the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement, released “New Adventure,” the 20th installment of the “Real Teachers Real Voices” campaign. This initiative, which highlights exceptional educators around the state, stems from feedback provided by Deal’s Teacher Advisory Committee. “New Adventure” features Marc Pedersen, an educator at Paulding County High School.
“These students can accomplish anything and every day I have a new adventure. I have students collaborating with universities and state agencies to monitor endangered aquatic species,” said Pedersen. “Teaching truly is the greatest, most rewarding career imaginable.”
