DeKalb Schools Superintendent to Deliver State of the District Address October 12th

Dr. R. Stephen Green, DeKalb County School District Superintendent, will deliver the 2017 State of the District to more than 100 business and community leaders on Thursday, Oct. 12.

The State of the District Address will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Stone Ridge Event Center on 1750 Stone Ridge Drive, Suite A in Stone Mountain. Superintendent Dr. R. Stephen Green will discuss the school district’s E-SPLOST projects and progress, five-year accreditation, new marketing campaign and more.

“With Dr. Green at the helm of the DeKalb County School District, our schools have shown major improvements,” said Katerina Taylor, President and CEO of the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce. “This district address will highlight Dr. Green’s work to propel our students for success and provide an update on the major projects underway as a result of E-SPLOST.”
