GPP to Host Mayoral Candidate Forum for Entertainment Industry October 3rd

Georgia Production Partnership, the voice of Georgia’s film, television and digital entertainment industry, will host a forum featuring top mayoral candidates at noon on Tuesday, October 3, at Atlanta Technical College.

GPP’s Mayoral Candidate Forum will feature a panel discussion on topics of interest to the industry and community to be moderated by Brennen Dicker, GPP’s Government Relations Committee Chair.  Confirmed participants (as of 9/21/17):

  • Peter Aman, former Chief Operating Officer of Atlanta

  • Keisha Lance Bottoms, Atlanta City Councilmember (District 11)

  • John Eaves, Fulton County Chairman, District 7, At-Large

  • Vincent Fort, Georgia State Senator, District 39

  • Kwanza Hall, Atlanta City Councilmember (District 2)

  • Ceasar Mitchell, Atlanta City Council President

  • Mary Norwood, Atlanta City Councilwoman (Post 2 At Large)

  • Cathy Woolard, former Atlanta City Council President

“We are excited to have such noteworthy participation for this forum,” said Dicker.  “GPP advocates interaction with community government and are pleased to give our members and the industry at large the opportunity to ask questions and inform themselves on the positions of Atlanta’s representative leadership.”
