Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Wednesday, October 25th, 2017

Conservative businessman and Secretary of State Brian Kemp continues to build important infrastructure for his gubernatorial campaign. Kemp for Governor released an extensive list of grassroots leaders representing every Georgia county. These hardworking Georgians will work to engage voters, raise resources, and Get Out The Vote on Election Day.

"It's no surprise that Brian Kemp is the first and only statewide candidate to actually release a list of grassroots leaders in every Georgia county," said Ryan Mahoney, Communications Director for Kemp for Governor. "During his time in public office, Kemp has traveled to all 159 counties to meet with local elected officials, business leaders, and grassroots conservatives. Rather than pal around the Gold Dome with the special interests and political insiders, Kemp spends his time building strong relationships with real Georgians."

"What an honor to have hundreds of friends, supporters, and fellow Republicans join Team Kemp," said Brian Kemp. "I am beyond grateful for the energy, tenacity, and strength of our grassroots army. With leadership in all 159 counties, we will work daily to organize and mobilize support throughout Georgia. Together, we will ensure victory at the ballot box and fight to put hardworking Georgians first!"

Since announcing his run, Kemp has earned endorsements from county leaders, local elected officials, and grassroots conservatives. Former Congressman Bob Barr, Georgia Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens, and media personality Barbara Dooley also back Brian Kemp for governor.

Kemp raised $1.7 million during the first three months of the campaign. He reported more individual donors than any other candidate for statewide office in Georgia.
