Kobiton, a flexible mobile device cloud platform, announced that Kevin Lee has been named Chief Executive Officer.

Lee brings extensive experience in leading technology companies, ranging in size from startups to global enterprises, through periods of rapid expansion and high growth. He has successfully executed strategies for capital and recapitalization campaigns and driven fast-paced hiring and office expansion efforts that led to favorable, strategic acquisitions and even an initial public offering.

"We were meticulous in our search for the CEO of Kobiton," said Vu Lam, Founder of Kobiton. "That approach paid off with Kevin. His industry experience, relationships and focus on scaling high-growth companies will help us meet our goal of empowering businesses to work more efficiently."

The Kobiton platform provides access to real mobile devices and offers device lab management in one easy-to-access cloud.

Prior to joining Kobiton, Lee focused on taking ideas and emerging businesses to the next level. He served as the CEO at both Skylight Financial and Vanco Payment Solutions after starting his career in the software and financial services organizations of Accenture.

"I am excited to work with the talented team at Kobiton to help even more companies release quality mobile products more quickly," said Lee. "It is inspiring to lead this group of innovative problem solvers who are tackling real-world issues through software."

Kobiton was founded by Lam and Josh Lieberman, who together also founded and built QASymphony, the leading provider of agile testing solutions, as well as KMS Technology, an offshore product development and testing company.

"We are honored to welcome Kevin as the new CEO," added Lieberman. "He has the expertise, skills and leadership needed to grow Kobiton. I am confident that he will lead the team to fulfill its mission to build innovative solutions that help companies of all sizes test better, increase productivity and bring great products to market sooner."
