Roadie and Fetch have announced the launch of their truck-rental program in Atlanta, which makes Fetch trucks available to Roadie Drivers at a discounted rate. For Drivers with smaller vehicles, the new partnership gives them the opportunity to make more money delivering oversized items or multiple Gigs at once.

Fetch provides self-service truck and van rentals at the press of a button. Through the Fetch app, drivers can find the Fetch truck parked nearest to them and book instantly. Drivers then use the Fetch app to check in and unlock their truck 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

“Our mission at Fetch is to make transportation effortless. For Roadie Drivers, Fetch trucks are available whenever they need them at the push of a button. We’re delighted to partner with Roadie to provide drivers with instant access to trucks for transporting large items,” Adam Steinberg, CEO of Fetch, said.

Roadie is an on-the-way delivery service that connects people who have stuff to send with drivers already heading in the right direction. Unlike dispatch couriers and on-demand services, Roadie gives Drivers the freedom and flexibility to choose the jobs they want, based on their own schedule and availability. Roadie Drivers can earn up to $50 per local delivery and up to $650 on long-haul deliveries.

"With a truck, folks can earn more delivering oversized items, like a riding lawn mower from a local hardware store or a couch to a new home in Old Fourth Ward,” said Marc Gorlin, CEO and Founder of Roadie. “By having a hometown partner in Fetch, Atlanta drivers with smaller vehicles can now rent a truck at an affordable rate and make more on drives they’re already taking.”
