Friday, March 23rd, 2018

Braves Holdings Chairman & CEO Terry McGuirk has announced an addition to the executive team and key organizational changes in advance of the Braves opening the 2018 regular season on Friday, March 29 versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Braves Holdings is the parent company of the Atlanta Braves and Braves Development Company, owner and operator of the Braves' mixed-use development, The Battery Atlanta.

McGuirk announced the hiring of Jill Robinson as the new Executive Vice President & CFO of Braves Holdings, LLC, with financial oversight for both the Atlanta Braves and Braves Development Company. She joins the Braves after 15 years with McKesson Corporation, serving most recently as the senior vice president, chief financial officer of McKesson Technology Solutions. Prior to that role, she held various positions within McKesson including CFO, McKesson Provider Technologies; CFO, RelayHealth Pharmacy; Vice President of Internal Audit, Director of Investor Relations, and Director of FP&A for McKesson Pharmaceutical at its San Francisco headquarters.

"We are delighted to have Jill, a world-class senior financial executive, join our executive team," said McGuirk. "Her experience raises our financial planning and reporting capabilities to match the expansion of our business successes. She will bring a wealth of knowledge to our baseball operations and real estate ventures, as well as the intricacies of functioning as a public company."

Robinson started her career at Deloitte and Touche, as an external auditor, in the San Francisco and Indianapolis offices. After nearly nine years with Deloitte, she left and joined a small start-up independent record label, Tambourine, Inc., as the Controller. Robinson, who graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Accounting, lives in Johns Creek with her husband Rob, daughter Chloe, and son Tyler.

Additionally, both Derek Schiller, president of business, and Mike Plant, president of development, have added chief executive officer to their titles and their responsibilities have been slightly redefined. Schiller will now serve as President & CEO of the Atlanta Braves, with responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of all business functions of the Atlanta Braves while Plant has been named President & CEO of Braves Development Company, and will have day-to-day oversight for all business functions of Braves Development Company. Both Plant and Schiller will also remain part of the executive committee of Braves Holdings.

"As a function of our growth and progress, I felt it was deserving to add chief executive officer to each of our president's respective titles and at the same time redefine each of their roles to separate our businesses," said Braves Chairman, Terry McGuirk. "Both Derek and Mike are proven executive leaders who have helped guide our organization to new levels of business and operational success, and I have the utmost confidence in their vision to continue to point the way to a promising and prosperous future for the Braves organization and The Battery Atlanta."

In his 15th season with the Braves, Schiller will now manage all key business and service functions, such as corporate partnerships, ticket sales, broadcasting, licensing and merchandising, concessions client services, guest services, ticketing, special events, alumni relations, ballpark tours, community relations and public relations and all other ballpark operations departments.

Also in his 15th season with the franchise, Plant's responsibilities include oversight of the Braves' real estate and development holdings, including The Battery Atlanta, its development and project management teams, design, construction and leasing activities. This also will include the security, life safety, parking and government relations for the franchise and The Battery Atlanta. Plant also will work with key Braves executives managing all Minor League Team operations, as well as the team's new Spring Training complex in North Port, Fla.

Plant, Schiller and Robinson, along with Braves Holdings EVP & CLO Greg Heller, and Braves Executive Vice President and General Manager Alex Anthopoulos, all report to McGuirk. McGuirk will remain Chairman of both the Atlanta Braves and Braves Development Company. These changes are effective immediately, with the exception of Robinson who will start on April 9.
