Peach Bowl, Inc. has committed an additional $8 million to elevate its financial support of the College Football Hall of Fame and extend its partnership with the Hall for the next 10 years.

The $8 million donation brings the Peach Bowl’s total investment in the Hall of Fame to $13 million. Peach Bowl, Inc. originally invested $5 million in the Hall in 2010.

The College Football Hall of Fame is now the single largest beneficiary in the Bowl’s philanthropic efforts as college football’s most charitable bowl game. An investment on this level is evidence of the Peach Bowl’s comprehensive and significant support of the Hall and of its role in helping make Atlanta the Capital of College Football.

“We are deeply committed to the long term growth and success of the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta,” said Gary Stokan, CEO and president of Peach Bowl, Inc. “We had the original vision and led the effort to bring the Hall here, and now continue that leadership position in elevating our relationship to help the Hall of Fame grow and prosper into the future.”

As the original recruiter and founding partner for the Hall’s relocation to Atlanta, Peach Bowl, Inc. is now the first original building sponsor to renew its sponsorship of the Hall of Fame and increase its involvement.

“The College Football Hall of Fame is an integral part of what solidifies Atlanta as the ‘College Football Capital,’” said Percy Vaughn, Peach Bowl, Inc. chairman. “We felt this was an ideal opportunity to hold true to our mission of giving back to both the community and the sport of college football as a whole.”

“We are truly grateful for the continued support of the Peach Bowl, and its commitment to the future success of the College Football Hall of Fame,” said Dennis Adamovich, CEO of the College Football Hall of Fame.  “As a founding partner that was instrumental in our move and rebuild in Atlanta, the Peach Bowl continues to provide the foundation for our organization to grow.  We look forward to the new experiences this extended partnership will provide.”

Part of the new financial investment will be allocated for refurbishment of the Hall’s indoor playing field. The area will now be called Peach Bowl Field and will include an enhanced Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Skill Zone fan activity. Other resources will allow for additional exhibits related to the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl and Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, and will provide for the creation of new college football-themed events at the facility throughout the year. One such new initiative, Peach Bowl FootballFest, will feature a college football-themed fan experience centered around the Hall of Fame that will kick off the college football season leading into the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game and the season’s opening weekend.
