Staff Report From Metro Atlanta CEO

Tuesday, July 31st, 2018

Dress Up clothing boutique announced that they will be relocating their Windward Parkway store to Alpharetta City Center.  Dress Up will be located in “The District,” two blocks of fashion retail and luxury residential buildings developed by South City Properties and Morris & Fellows.

“This is the second time Dress Up has worked with Morris & Fellows, as we’ve had a store in Woodstock Downtown since 2012. The hometown feel that Cheri Morris and her team have created at Alpharetta City Center is a perfect fit for Dress Up,” says Derrick Case, Dress Up CEO. “Our customers tend to stop by every week to see what’s new so it’s important that the surrounding environment be welcoming, with a good mix of tenants. We saw Cheri create that in Woodstock and we’re looking forward to being a part of her success in Alpharetta.”

Case says that when the store opens in the fall, at the corner of Academy Street and across from Market Street Park, the interior will have a new feel from previous stores, with a more simple and modern design and décor. “The emphasis is on the clothes,” he said.
