Monday, August 6th, 2018

Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of litigation attorney Lauren Woodrick to the firm’s Atlanta office. Woodrick’s arrival follows the firm’s announcement of seven new attorneys in Atlanta earlier this month. The firm has now added 25 attorneys in 2018 and built its overall roster to approximately 140 attorneys as the firm continues its strategic plan to grow in tandem with client needs and ensure the highest-quality legal services at a reasonable cost.

Woodrick represents clients in complex litigation matters and holds licenses in both Alabama and Georgia. She has experience handling a wide range of legal matters including breach of contract actions under state law, criminal law, employment discrimination, SEC enforcement, civil rights, immigration and federal jurisdiction.

Prior to joining Swift Currie, Woodrick was an attorney with the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, most recently serving as chambers staff attorney for the Honorable Judge Stanley Marcus. She has also held clerkships for the University of Alabama Office of Counsel and the Alabama Attorney General’s Office.

Woodrick earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi and her law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.
