Ernst & Young LLP is adding to its US$1b innovation drive with the announcement of two key initiatives for the Southeast: the expansion of the EY wavespace network in January 2019 and the addition of its EY-Parthenon strategy practice, both based in Atlanta.

The Atlanta location adds to the number of EY wavespace enabled centers in the region expanding on the previously announced energy-focused wavespace center in Charlotte, NC and the hospitality and technology space in Miami, FL.   EY wavespace locations are supported by multi-disciplinary teams focusing on disruptive growth, improvement strategies and technologies.  They share a common global wavespace footprint featuring  shared methodology and platforms that combine EY professionals’ deep industry domain and regulatory knowledge with their experience in disruptive technologies – such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotic process automation (RPA), drone technology, blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), data analytics, digital, customer experience and cybersecurity.

Additionally, EY is expanding its EY-Parthenon strategy practice into Atlanta and named Peter Aman as lead partner. Peter’s background in strategy consulting, and strong ties to the Atlanta area, is the perfect combination to build out the EY-Parthenon strategy practice in the region. EY-Parthenon’s capabilities in growth, optimization and transaction strategies enable fast-track value creation for organizations to reach their full potential. EY-Parthenon strategy services are part of the Connected Capital Solutions within the EY Transaction Advisory Services service line, where there is a continued commitment to providing holistic services to our clients from strategy through execution and beyond.

With both the challenges and opportunities of continuous change, digitization and disruption, EY investments in the EY-Parthenon strategy team and the new wavespace enabled location are critical in supporting our clients.

Peter has served as a senior partner with a widely recognized strategy firm and has more than 25 years of consulting experience across a variety of sectors. He has supported clients in growth strategy, new business and product development, organizational effectiveness, salesforce effectiveness, cost position, and operational efficiency and effectiveness. Most recently, Peter was an Atlanta mayoral candidate in 2017, and in 2010 and 2011 he served as the chief operating officer for the city, where he managed all operating departments; including police, fire, corrections, public works and the Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.

Peter Aman, EY-Parthenon Lead Principal, Southeast, says:

“I am excited to join the EY-Parthenon team and its commitment to help leaders in the private and public sectors to solve their most complex issues through collaboration, data and analysis, and leveraging unique insights necessary for this age of disruption and transformation.”

Sam Johnson, Vice Chair and Southeast Region Managing Partner, says:

“Due to technology and other disruptors, CEOs and businesses are facing challenges in achieving maximum value for their companies and investors. Our EY-Parthenon teams, in collaboration with the EY wavespace network, will help today’s leaders face and surpass tomorrow’s challenges.”
