The ratings were published by NCQA in the Health Insurance Plan Ratings 2018-2019 report. NCQA is recognized as the national leader in health care performance measurement and rates more than 1,000 health plans nationally each year, including Medicare, Medicaid and Private (commercial). NCQA’s annual report rates plans on a 0-to-5 scale, with 5 being the best. The ratings are based on combined scores for The Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS), Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) and NCQA Accreditation standards scores.

“Our continued commitment to providing exceptional patient care remains a top priority for the clinicians in our medical group,” said Mary Wilson, MD, executive medical director of Kaiser Permanente of Georgia. “Our top ranking reiterates that mission of delivering the highest quality care and we will continue to find new ways to enhance the care experience for our members and their families.”
