Sheltering Arms Welcomes New Vice President of Development

Sheltering Arms announces today Tony Conway as the organization’s new vice president of development and communications. With 17 years of experience, including leadership development, building strategy and guiding every aspect of development operations, Conway brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in donor engagement and community building to the largest nonprofit early education and child care organization in Georgia.
 
“For six generations, Sheltering Arms has been in the Atlanta community, educating and providing support services for children and families in need,” said Blythe Keeler Robinson, president and CEO. “We are thrilled that Tony has joined our team, and are confident that his strong leadership and fundraising experience will help us expand our impact in the community for years to come.”
 
Prior to joining Sheltering Arms, Conway built and led successful development programs for Atlanta Children’s Shelter, Agape Youth and Family Center and, most recently, The National Center for Civil and Human Rights.
 
Conway will develop the fundraising strategy that aligns with Sheltering Arms’ strategic plan, which includes engaging donors at all levels as partners in the work and leveraging the power of current community partners and stakeholders to help facilitate the organization’s growth and vitality.
 
Conway has a business administration degree from Marist College.
