Employees of Atlanta Gas Light in the Southeast Georgia region delivered holiday gifts for patients at the Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital at Memorial Health. This is the third consecutive year Atlanta Gas Light has led a yearlong employee toy drive to collect toys for this effort.

Santa Claus and his “elves” arrived at Memorial Health University Medical Center aboard a sleigh pulled by an Atlanta Gas Light truck. They unloaded about 2,000 new, unwrapped toys that were transported by wagon to the Willett Children’s Hospital.

With the help of Memorial Health’s child life specialists, Santa presented toys to several children who are currently in the hospital facing medical challenges. Some toys were set aside for children who will be admitted to the hospital throughout the holiday season, according to Heather Newsome, administrative director of the Willett Children’s Hospital.
