Cumberland Academy of Georgia Announces Date for Spring Gala

In celebration of Woodstock's 50th anniversary, Cumberland Academy of Georgia announces its annual fundraiser. This year's theme is "Peace Love & Rock 'n Roll" and will feature original artwork from Woodstock as well as never before seen photographs from Woodstock. These museum quality pieces are loaned from the Stern Family collection that has traveled to various museums across the country. One of these original pieces of art will be auctioned off in a live auction. The gala is the hallmark fundraising event for Cumberland as all proceeds will go towards assisting the special students thrive in their life long goals.

Located in Atlanta, Cumberland is a school for special needs students from 4th to 12th grades. The Peace Love & Rock 'n Roll gala will raise money for an outdoor classroom and classroom upgrades and will do so under the banner of an enjoyable theme, live and silent auction, gaming, dinner and dancing. "Cumberland is founded on academics and the school is centered on an exceptional education for our students. Each year, the gala raises money for Cumberland and supports our mission. An outdoor classroom will give students an alternative space to learn," said Debbi Scarborough, founding director.
