Fourth Annual Golf Classic to Benefit Feeding the Homeless Project, INC. April 15th

On Monday, April 15 the Feeding the Homeless Project, Inc. (FTHP) will hold its fourth annual golf tournament fundraiser to support FTHP’s mission to address the plight of homeless men and women on the streets of Atlanta. The event will take place at Druid Hills Golf Club, followed by an awards ceremony, lunch and silent auction. Proceeds raised this year from the golf tournament will be used for their expanded mission to go, “Beyond Breakfast”.

Premier sponsors for the event include:  Cellairis, JE Dunn Construction and Southern Wall. Benefactor sponsors are Cleveland Group, IDI Logistic, Piedmont Realty Trust, Power Design, South City Partners and The Circle Group.

Feeding the Homeless Project has served over 100,000 hot breakfast on the streets of Atlanta in the last 10 years. The Atlanta-based charity’s purpose is threefold: to bring attention to the homeless problem in our community by providing opportunities for volunteers to become directly involved in preparing and serving meals while offering emotional support; and support and partner with compatible non-profit organizations to deliver essential services that will improve the quality of life for those who live on the edge of society.  Additionally, FTHP has recently expanded its mission to go “Beyond Breakfast” to individually connect with our friends on the streets to teach them the skills and connect them to the essential services they need to help them of the street, one at a time when they are ready.
