Leadership Rockdale, is a group of Community Leaders, Business Owners, Public Officials that have come together through the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce to learn the Behind the Scenes operations of Local and State government, Community initiatives and City Business operations.

Every year Leadership Rockdale has created, developed and implemented a community project that will leave an impact in and on the community in which it serves. This year, the Leadership Rockdale class of 2019 Team Unity has taken on 2 projects; One for CASA, an organization that works with the juvenile court system in Conyers, Rockdale County to provide visitation to families going through family transitions.  We are adding an enclosed green space to their location where families can visit with their love ones.  The space will include: A fenced in area, a table, bench and a play area for children.

In Addition to the CASA project, we will leave another legacy by creating a  "Unity Garden” at the corner of Green St. & Travis St. in Olde Town.

In the words of our project chair Steve Bromell “Our hope is that this landmark will be reflective of the diversity of the City of Conyers and Rockdale County and our goal is that visitors of the park will be inspired by its beauty, it’s vibrant colors, various surfaces, textures and large rock bolder”.

We are inviting you the community out to help us celebrate and dedicate this monumental occasion.
