Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan announced the appointments of Judith Fouts and Hal Jones to the Safe Harbor for Sexually Exploited Children Fund (“the Fund”). The Fund seeks to protect child victims of sex trafficking by providing safe housing, trauma counseling and medical treatment.

“I feel a deep, personal responsibility to protect every single Georgia child to the best of my ability,” Duncan said. “There is no greater sorrow than learning someone has maliciously preyed upon our youth. I have faith that Judith Fouts and Hal Jones will work hard to serve Georgia’s human trafficking victims by providing the best care and support possible. I thank them for their commitment to serve some of our most vulnerable citizens.”

Fouts is a public relations executive and small business owner in Acworth. Jones serves as CEO to Wellroot Family Services, formerly United Methodist Children’s Home.
