Lt. Governor Duncan Announces Members of Senate Agriculture, Forestry and Landscape Workforce Access Study Committee

Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan announced the members of the Senate Agriculture, Forestry and Landscape Workforce Access Study Committee, as prescribed by SR 460. Senator John Wilkinson will chair the committee, while Senators P. K. Martin and Frank Ginn will serve as members alongside citizen appointees Charles Hall (Lt. Governor’s Appointee) and Brent Galloway (Governor’s Appointee). Mary Kay Woodworth (Executive Director of Georgia Urban Agriculture Council) will also serve. Other committee members include: Superintendent Richard Woods, Commissioner Gary Black and Commissioner Mark Butler.

“Agriculture has been and will continue to be a vital lifeline in maintaining Georgia’s strong economy,” Duncan said. “This distinguished group will play the role of evaluating options to strengthen our workforce in this important industry.”
