The Coca-Cola Foundation recently donated $100,000 to the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) Foundation to support students throughout Georgia’s technical colleges. The funds will directly impact student retention and graduation rates as it supports The Last Mile Fund. The Last Mile Fund provides needs-based assistance to students at all 22 TCSG colleges. Since its inception, the TCSG Foundation has awarded more than $80,000 in student aid as a result of The Last Mile Fund.

“At The Coca-Cola Foundation, we understand education opens the door to opportunities. We are proud to support the Technical College System of Georgia as they prepare students for high-demand technical careers,” said Helen Smith Price, President, The Coca-Cola Foundation.

“The Last Mile Fund provides support to those students who otherwise would not be able to continue their education due to financial barriers,” said TCSG Commissioner, Matt Arthur. “Keeping a student on track to graduate and become gainfully employed is our primary goal at TCSG. We are extremely grateful for Coca-Cola’s investment in our students.”
