Curiosity Lab at Peachtree Corners announced its strategic partnership with the Taiwan-USA Industrial Cooperation Promotion Office, Ministry of Economic Affairs (TUSA) to foster new smart city and intelligent mobility technologies. Curiosity Lab is a 5G-enabled autonomous vehicle and smart city living laboratory.

TUSA helps advance industrial cooperation and investment between prospective partners from Taiwan and the United States. Sharing Curiosity Lab’s interest in developing new smart city and autonomous vehicle technologies, the TUSA saw Curiosity Lab’s smart city lab and 1.5 mile autonomous vehicle test track as a critical asset for Taiwanese startups and technology innovators. Curiosity Lab, through its cooperation with TUSA, will provide opportunities for Taiwanese companies to establish operations in Peachtree Corners and leverage the Lab’s infrastructure and services to test and demo new, innovative technologies.

“Our partnership with TUSA further establishes Curiosity Lab as an international leader in smart city and autonomous vehicle technology research,” said Brian Johnson, city manager of Peachtree Corners. “Our collaboration with TUSA will encourage international cooperation between Taiwanese and American technology companies.”

“Curiosity Lab presents a unique opportunity for the advancement of smart city technologies and intelligent mobility,” said Sebastian Liau, director for TUSA. “We look forward to creating new opportunities for Taiwanese companies to enhance their research and development practices using Curiosity Lab’s one-of-a-kind infrastructure.”
