Rick Bortnick Joins FMG’s Cybersecurity Team

Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP, a leading nationwide specialty litigation law firm, is pleased to announce that Richard Bortnick has joined the firm as a partner and will practice in the firm’s Philadelphia and Cherry Hill, NJ offices.

Mr. Bortnick’s practice includes representation of U.S. and international clients on cyber and technology risks, exposures, and insurance as well as with respect to professional liability, D&O, and commercial litigation matters. He regularly handles matters requiring proactive security protocols and containment and remediation from cyberattacks and data breaches.

Mr. Bortnick is a leader in the industry, frequently speaking at specialized forums and has written on many cyber-risk prevention topics. He was named Advisen’s Cyber Risk Network 2015 Person of the Year.
