Thursday, August 6th, 2020
Hyperion Bank has named Joel Higdon as Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager. He has more than 20 years’ experience in customer service, with 10 years of that spent in banking.
“Joel brings experience in a number of areas that are important to our customers, always with a focus on a great customer service experience,” says veteran Atlanta banker Charles B. (Charlie) Crawford, Jr., Hyperion’s Chairman and CEO. “Several of our team members have worked with Joel before, so we know firsthand how attentive he’ll be to our customers.”
A native of the North Georgia mountains, Higdon is a graduate of Appalachian Technical College and Georgia State University. He previously worked as a Personal Banker, Retail Banker and bank Branch Manager.
“I believe in providing first-class service and having a great relationship with each of my customers,” Higdon says. “I want to be one of the reasons for the success of customers and the bank alike.”
Away from the bank, Higdon enjoys cooking and reconnecting with the outdoors in North Georgia, through photography, camping, kayaking and hiking. He resides in Vinings.
Hyperion Bank, founded in 2006, is a full-service community bank built that serves customers via technology and highly accessible, experienced, enthusiastic bankers who have local decision-making authority. In 2018 Hyperion undertook a significant recapitalization and in 2019 it expanded to Atlanta, with the opening of its banking office in Piedmont Center in Buckhead.
