Jeff Butterworth, Georgia Power area manager for Paulding and Cherokee Counties has been appointed to the Cherokee County Transportation Advisory Authority by District 3 Commissioner Benny Carter.

As Georgia Power’s leader in Cherokee and Paulding counties, Butterworth is responsible for promoting the company’s strategic business interests while ensuring world-class service to all customers in the community.

Butterworth is involved as a board member for several community organizations, which include the Cherokee Office of Economic Development, the Regional Business Coalition of Metro Atlanta, Chattahoochee Tech Foundation, and the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce.
