Wednesday, September 15th, 2021

RangeWater Real Estate announces its second development project in Nashville, a 353-unit apartment community in the newly reimagined River North Development District, a former industrial area undergoing revitalization under the City of Nashville’s new master plan. The deal also marks a major milestone for RangeWater: Its 100th development.

The planned project consists of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments within a five-minute drive from Downtown Nashville and Germantown, and steps from Oracle’s newest campus. The community will showcase RangeWater’s unparalleled features and amenities with a signature modern design.

“Our development team is excited to get back to Nashville with this incredible River North project,” said Steven Shores, President & CEO of RangeWater. “This is an opportunity to be part of the revitalization of a progressive neighborhood. Being our 100th development, our team has invested a great deal of time and research to ensure we deliver a flagship project to best serve Nashville residents.

When completed, the apartments will boast two floors of amenities and a sky lounge with expansive views of downtown. A listening lounge with recording equipment for musicians, and a pool deck atop a green rooftop space will also be available for residents. The apartments will feature 9-foot ceilings and modern finishes with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and Whirlpool washer/dryer units in each unit. With high design finishes and top tier interiors, the community is fully optimized to cater to Nashville’s vibrant creative niche.

“This is the ideal location for RangeWater to continue to grow our footprint in Nashville,” added Palmer McArthur, Managing Director for the Carolinas and Tennessee for RangeWater. “This will no doubt provide an exceptional experience for residents, positively impact the River North neighborhood and build long-term value for our investment partners.”

The community will be located at 201 Cowan Street. Groundbreaking will take place this month with first apartment homes delivering Spring 2023.

This project will be RangeWater’s second development in Nashville, with the first being The Gossett on Church in the dynamic Gulch neighborhood. RangeWater currently manages four properties in Tennessee totaling nearly 1,000 units. Their property management arm has been awarded an additional 800 units with third-party clients delivering over the next two years.
