The National Association of Realtors this month presented Ennis Antoine, Managing Broker for the Compass Greater Atlanta Buckhead office, with a Meritorious Service Award for his legislative and regulatory accomplishments as one of NAR’s Federal Political Coordinators. During each Congressional term, NAR selects 535 FPCs to serve as a conduit between Members of Congress and his or her respective real estate market. Two MSA winners are selected annually from those 535 in recognition of the relationships forged with lawmakers and the impact it has had on fostering vibrant, sustainable communities throughout the country.

“NAR’s strength is in our numbers, and that includes the 535 Realtors who serve as Federal Political Coordinators every year,” said NAR President Leslie Rouda Smith. “Ennis was selected for this award because of his commitment to Atlanta, his deep appreciation of how policies decided in Washington impact consumers throughout Georgia, and for his tireless work to make sure NAR can achieve our goals on Capitol Hill and throughout all levels of U.S. government.”

Antoine was one of two Realtors presented with this year’s Meritorious Service Award during the annual REALTORS Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo in Washington D.C. earlier this month. In order to be eligible for the award, candidates must have served as an FPC for a minimum of four consecutive years, or eight total years; demonstrate effectiveness as the representative of the RealtorParty and all national real estate issues; and participate in various local political events on behalf of their Member of Congress.
