Cushman & Wakefield Arranges Industrial Lease Totaling 401,242 SF at Gillem Logistics Center

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the commercial real estate services firm has arranged a new lease totaling 401,242 square feet at Gillem Logistics Center, an industrial park located in Forest Park, Georgia. The lease is with a subsidiary of Covenant Logistics Group (Covenant), a Chattanooga-based third-party logistics company that offers a wide portfolio of logistics and transportation solutions.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Pat Murphy, Tara Healy, Andrew Thurman, Ray Stache, Lisa Pittman, and Ryan Bellows represented the landlord, TA Realty, in the lease negotiations.

“TA Realty provided exactly what Covenant needed, which was a best in class building and location in the Gillem Logistics Center,” said Murphy, Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield.

Covenant will partially occupy Building 1100 within Gillem Logistics Center, which totals 909,509 square feet and was recently delivered in September 2022. The building is located at 200 Metcalf Rd. Extension and is one of the largest and newest facilities within the industrial park.

Totaling 1,168 acres, Gillem Logistics Center is tailored to e-commerce and distribution companies. The industrial park also offers an unrivaled location with a mix of more than 30 restaurants, shops, and service-oriented establishments nearby along with easy access to nearly all the area’s major transportation thoroughfares including Interstate 675, Interstate 285, Hartsfield Jackson International Airport, and Downtown Atlanta.
