Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties hosted an exclusive event for Luxury Collection Specialists at Ansley Country Club and announced the latest results for the luxury real estate market in Metro Atlanta. The data is based on information from Trendgraphix, Collateral Analytics and the local MLS services. The report shows very positive gains for the last 12 months. The number of luxury properties above $500,000 sold in the last 12 months increased by 11.4% compared to the previous 12 months. Sales volume increased by 12.9%. Listed inventory increased by 12.2%. The market above $1 million increased by 12.3% while sales volume increased by 15.4%. Listed inventory increased by 17%.

One of the big stories in the Metro Atlanta luxury real estate market is the emergence of the Luxury Collection from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties. Since introducing this new luxury program, there has been a dramatic shift in the market share of the major players. In the last 12 months, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties gained 26% in units and 27% in closed volume for properties above $500,000 and gained 42% in units and 46% in closed volume for properties above $1 million. The campaign includes a network of vinyl and digital billboards in key locations like the heart of Buckhead and major traffic locations for the affluent suburbs. The campaign also includes significant print advertising in major mediums such as Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, The Atlantan, Northside Neighbor, Southern Seasons, Buckhead Guidebook, Atlanta InTown, Dunwoody Crier, Atlanta Business Chronicle, Marietta Daily Journal, North Atlanta Business Post, AJC plus global mediums including the Wall Street Journal, Robb Report, DuPont Registry, Prestige, Unique Homes, and Luxury Real Estate. The company is building a local digital advertising network including interactive kiosks, flat panel TVs and extensive online advertising on Google and Facebook. In March, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties was a sponsor for the Luxury Living Show at Phipps Plaza which highlight a brand new interactive podium kiosk -- the first in the world.
